As typhoon Gener traverses northern Luzon last july 30 & 31, 2012, Rosales was not spared from its wrath. In fact there were 696 families or 3480 individuals reported to be affected by flood in the locality.

In no time therefore, the MSWD Office through the guidance of Mayor Ric Revita a relief distribution endeavour has been conducted on August 02, 2012. The targets were the five Barangays that was flooded seriously by typhoon Gener.

The Barangays reached out and the numbers of families are as follows: Bakit-bakit near dike 87 families, Station District Makatae 50 families, Camanggaan – Kabillitan 70 families, Rabago Barangobong 50 families, Pangaoan - 431 families

In the process of the operation, Vice - President Jejomar C. Binay has instructed and sent a team to assist our relief distribution. Thus August 03, 2012 his five member team arrived and joined the relief operation dishing out 600 packs of goods to those flood victims.
