MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS ACCOMPLISHMENTS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF
HON. MAYOR RICARDO V. REVITA:

(July 1, 2004 TO PRESENT)
 

 ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS

    * Regular Barangay visitations to have grass root dealings with the people.

  * Strict implementation of the working hours among all government employees and delegating responsibility to grow in Initiative for governance.

    * Created an oversight committee to look after the collectibles to raise the Municipal revenues.

    * Sponsored the enrollment of some 240 out-of-school youths to undergo Vocational courses offered by the TESDA.

    * Conferred with the award as the Highest Rating 3rd Class Municipality in the whole Region 1 in terms of Revenue Collection Performance for Calendar 2004.

    * Acquisition through donation of Four (4) Ford auto machines for purposes of short program instruction to be rendered by TESDA to out of school youths of Rosales.

    * Facilitated the conduct of Five Jobs Fair in the Municipality to benefit the manpower of Rosales to be gainfully employed.

    * The Municipality of Rosales was elevated from Third class to Second class Municipality.

    * Conducted Strategic Planning Workshop for area skills Development Program for Department Heads.

    * Organized and launched the Continuing Program for the Out of School Youth of Rosales where almost 4,000 OSY from 37 Barangays will be benefited from it.

    * Increased considerably the Municipal income from the annual P42 M to P70M

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

    * Adjudged as the Cleanest, Greenest and Safest Municipality in the Province of Pangasinan for two consecutive years. Landed second placer in Region 1 (2006) and first runner-up in Region 1 (2007).

    * Organized the Team of Environmental Police to preserve cleanliness and orderliness in Rosales. From time to time monitoring and rounding of the environmental police to ensure the safeness, cleanliness and orderliness of every barangay.

    * Ensuring a Rabies-free community thru a municipal ordinance where dogs are not allowed to wander off in the streets.

    * Construction of Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and implemented the waste recycling to address the Solid Waste Segregation Management of the Municipality.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

    * Construction of three (3) Box Culverts at Barangay Pangaoan with funding assistance coming from of Gov. Victor E. Agbayani.

    * Completed the restoration and rehabilitation of the Old Municipal Hall of Rosales through the funds of the Municipality, 2006 Mrs. Rosales Popularity Contest and the CDF of Congressman Conrado M. Estrella in the amount of 7.5M.

    * Establishment of the Carmen Central Parking Terminal for an orderly vehicle flow and convenience of commuters.

    * Opened-up a 8 km graveled farm to market roads interconnecting four (4) barangays Salvacion, San Luis, San Angel & Acop for Commercial and Eco-tourism accessibility and progress.

    * Renovation of the Shrine of the Unknown Soldier thru the auspices of Southern California Association of Rosales.

    * Landscaping of the garden fronting the old Municipal Building thru the undertaking of RNHS class ’55.

    * Construction of hanging bridges at Barangays Pangaoan, Sitio Baong, Station District, Balincannaway and Capitan Tomas.

    * Construction of the Irrigational Dam at Barangay Pangaoan servicing at least 500 hectares of rice lands.

    * Repaired eight class rooms of the Two Districts schools  of Rosales.

    * Constructed a Multi-Purpose Building of the Elementary School of Barangays Palakipak, Camangaan, Pangaoan, Guiling High School, San Luis High School and extended the Multi-Purpose Building of Rosales South Central School.

    * Construction of a Class AA Slaughterhouse at San Pedro East.

    * Construction and repairs of the drainages of San Antonio St., Casanova St., Bonifacio St. around the Rosales Public market.

    * Gravelling of Barangay roads throughout the 37 Barangays of Rosales.

    * Installation of street lights in front of the Presidencia and along the commercial Districts at Mc Arthur Highway at Barangay Carmen East and West towards the provincial boundary.

PROMOTION OF TOURISM MARKET

    * Organized the Team of Eco-tourism Police to protect and oversee our tourism area.

    * Constructed two Restrooms at the Tourism Area of the Municipality for the convenience of tourists.

    * Obtained the distinguished privilege of representing the Tourism Industry of the entire Region 1 in the “Search for a New Travel Destination” launched by the Women-in-Travel with the cooperation of the Department of Tourism and was chosen as one of the 9 finalists in the contest.

    * Initiated a provision for a Municipal Campsite within the Eco-Tourism site.

    * Rosales bagged the award in 2006 as the Cleanest Greenest in Pangasinan and 2nd placer in Region 1. Coveting also the same title in 2007 and landed first runner-up in Region 1.

    * Rosales reaped the award as the most Outstanding LGU in Eco-Tourism and promotion and environmental protection (2006).

SECURITY VIGILANCE MEASURES

    * Constructed Four police substations situated at strategic locations in order to have a closer supervision on the peace and order of the whole Municipality

    * Purchased a Rubber boat with over board motor to address eventuality on flood prone areas (the first in Eastern Pangasinan).

    * Conduct of Three Batches of Disaster Preparedness Training  to enhance the community based Disaster Risk Reduction Management in all the Barangays of Rosales.

    * Construction of a Modern Police Station Building and a Substation Building at Barangay Carmen, Rosales, Pangasinan.

    * Acquired a brand new Toyota Innova patrol car.

PROMOTION OF HEALTH WELFARE

    * Procured Medical kits for the 37 Barangays through the help of Cong. Conrad Estrella, III.

    * Conducted Eight Medical-Dental and Veterinary Missions serving 30 Barangays of the municipality.

    * Increased Phil Health beneficiaries from 370 to 2,500 in 2006 and up to 6,300 in 2007.

    * Distributed free 3,000 reading eye glasses to the indigent elders of Rosales in 2006 and 2007.

    * Conducted a free Bone Scanning Medical Activity effective in detecting osteoporosis.

    * Construction of the RHU-Annex Building from the auspices of the 2005 Mrs. Rosales reigning personalities.

    * Founded and administered the STAC (Stimulation and Therapeutic Action Center) Host for the whole District 6 of Pangasinan. Coined as the biggest and grandest STAC Center in the Philippines.

    * Free Family planning commodities and services to MWRAs (Married Women of Reproductive Age).

    * Dished out 10,000 life insurance cards given to risk hazard workers of Rosales.

    * Acquired through Municipal funds a brand new Toyota Grandia Ambulance.

ENHANCEMENT OF THE DELIVERY OF BASIC SERVICES

    * Acquisition of five dump trucks, one pay loader, one grader and one back hoe to fast track infrastructure projects.

    * Conduct of Three Batches of Disaster Preparedness Training  to enhance the community based Disaster Risk Reduction Management in all the Barangays of Rosales.

    * Construction of a Modern Police Station Building and a Substation Building at Barangay Carmen, Rosales, Pangasinan.

    * Acquired a brand new Toyota Innova patrol car.

OTHERS

    * Yearly giving out of Christmas goodies to less fortunate families.

    * Initiated support to livelihood projects for the less fortunate.

    * Attends civic organization celebrations.
